associate creative director /
creative director

This role marked a huge turning point in both my career and my life.
I moved to Monterrey to take on my first position as an Associate Creative Director — stepping not only into a leadership role at an independent agency, but also into a completely new cultural context.

Speaking to an audience as proud and distinct as the people of northern Mexico pushed me to expand my creative thinking, discover new ways of connecting, and build strategies that truly reflected how they live and consume.

With OXXO as the lead account, I led the creative vision and team coordination, developing omnichannel strategies for brands like Sigma Alimentos (Oscar Mayer and Norteñita), ABA Seguros, BMW San Luis Potosí Plant, RAC, and Pernod Ricard.

This is where I truly began to put everything I’d learned into practice - and pass it on.
Helping my team understand how their ideas could become the answers brands were looking for.

I also took part in key pitches for Allen, Sigma USA, Tim Hortons, and Farmacias del Ahorro, eventually leading the agency to win Volkswagen Financial Services, securing our position as their creative partner.

Thanks to strong results and the impact of my leadership, I was promoted to Creative Director in under a year, solidifying my role and reaffirming my vision of leadership as something close, collaborative, and built on trust.

More than just a job, this chapter redefined how I see creativity and leadership,
as a space to teach, to learn, and to build something greater together.
